What happens when the rain doesn’t stop?
The world of Rök has been cursed with endless rain for one thousand years. The wizard Eldric has become a crippled remnant of his former self, having long neglected his duties as a Warden, a protector of the realm, while the world slowly drowned.
Now weakened by time and battered by years of hardship, Eldric is forced to become the Warden he once was. Many obstacles stand in his way: sorcerers, strange creatures, an unforgiving landscape, and a greater enemy than any of them: himself.
His magic is weak and his body is failing, but he soon discovers he is not alone in his struggle. The warrior Lira, hardened by her own burdens and complicated past, seeks answers of her own. But as her path crosses with Eldric’s, the two discover their fates are deeply intertwined. Together, they set out on an epic quest that will reshape who they are as they attempt to stop the endless rain.
