The world of Rök has been cursed with endless rain for one thousand years. The ancient wizard Eldric, a member of the Wardens, the peacekeepers of the land, has become a crippled remnant of his former self, having long neglected his duties while the world slowly drowned.
Weakened by time and battered by years of hardship, Eldric must face sorcerers, creatures warped by the sodden land, and a greater enemy than any of them: himself. His magic is weak and his body is failing, but the fate of Rök still rests in his hands.
With the help of his young warrior friend, Lira, they set out on an epic quest that will reshape who they are as they try to end the endless rain.
